It wasn’t that long ago that U-render added new features for Non-Photorealistic Rendering (NPR) that allow the creation of real-time toon-shaded scenes within Cinema 4D.

This latest tutorial shows how to work with toon materials in U-render, how to manage a rim-light effect, and how to create a screen-tone effect using camera projections.
