Using Newton for After Effects for Pop-Up Style Animations

By September 30, 2011No Comments

A unique approach to creating the 3D Pop-Up book look in After Effects by using the Newton Physics Engine. Newton doesn’t really handle 3D, however it is interesting that you can use Newton to generate animated data for the pop up look in your After Effects animation. Pretty cool.

From MotionBoutique’s description: “In this tutorial we are going to show you how easy and fast it is to use a ‘sandbox’ scene to create natural motion for your layers (like a “pop up” style) and how to use the “AEmatic” body type in Newton to give ease, elasticity or bounciness to your animation in a breeze.”
