DAC for Maya Duplicate Objects Along Curves

By March 5, 2012No Comments

Thomas Horan’s DAC script for Maya will allow you to duplicate objects along a curve in Maya. Although there are a few of these scripts floating around DAC differs in that it allows for multiple objects to be duplicated either in the order they were selected or in a random order. It also supports multiple curves and the option to set the distance or the number of duplicates. One other order of distinction is that DAC for maya does not use the motion path method for distributing objects along a curve in Maya.

This tool is similar to many others out there however this one supports the use of multiple curves and multiple objects. This tool also supports the use of animated curves without using the motion path technique, a custom node has been created which allows an item to be parented to a curve.
