Overview of using State Sets in 3ds MAX for After Effects Composites

Michael Hurwicz provides an introduction to the new State Sets feature that previously was a subscription advantage in 2012 and now made its way as a standard features in 3ds MAX 2013.

State Sets are a render pass system that directly integrates with After Effects where render passes from 3ds MAX will be sent over to After Effects and assembled as a composite.
