LoopTools for Blender Updates with New Gstretch Polygon Creation Feature

By July 20, 2012No Comments

LoopTools, a mesh modeling Add-on script for Blender recently updated to version 4.2 adding a new feature called Gstretch. Gstretch sets out to speed up the modeling workflow in Blender by allowing you to simply draw a line that vertices will be distributed against, and then polygons will be created from that distribution… Really sweet actually, draw a line, make some faces.

LoopTools is a collection of tools for Blender – all to aid mesh modelling in Blender including new mesh modeling tools as Bridge
Circle, Curve, Flatten, Loft, Relax, and Space. For more information on the LoopTools mesh modeling add-on for Blender 3D, check out the documentation here – or download LoopTools for Blender 3D here.

Bart Crouch shows a demonstration of the new Gstretch function in LoopTools for Blender…

The LoopTools script originally started as just a Curve tool, inspired by this thread. What followed were several versions of LoopTools for Blender 2.4x. You can find the last one of them here.
