Using Plexus in After Effects to Animate and Transform Text

Some forthcoming insight into how the Plexus Text Transformation piece was created from VinhSon Nguyen, who walks us through the process using Plexus 2 in After Effects to create a dynamic animation of linked particles that will transform into a line of type.

In this tutorial, we’re going to take a look at how to create a dynamic and interesting text transition using Plexus 2

Plexus is deemed the “next generation” of 3D particle systems in After Effects, and Plexus 2 proves extremely versatile for motion graphics work. VinhSon notes that the geometry for the scene just one instance of Plexus that exists on a text layer making it easy to edit and update the type in the animation.
