Control the Transparency of Multiple Objects in C4D With a Single Null

Director, designer and animator Lasse Clausen shares a quick little tip showing how to control the transparency of multiple objects in Cinema 4D handily using a construction object, in this case a null.

This is a really simple setup, and it allows you to intuitively animate the transparency or opacity of many objects in the scene effectively by  animating the position of a null object.

This can make it easy to animate a model made of lots of components all together, instead of animating each object independently. Lasse is creating the system for transparency, but in reality it can be used for any material channel with a few modifications.
