Joren Kandel Shares a Great Tip for Creating Rows of LED Lights in C4D

The Pixel Lab’s Joren Kandel offers a quick tip showing how to create rows of LED lights in C4D easily. There are probably a few ways to approach this including as Joren mentions, using Mograph to clone objects to the appropriate places.

Certainly that has some drawbacks in terms of the resources needed. Perhaps the lights will be farther from  the camera than would warrant a cloner setup. Here Joren shows how you can use the luminance channel to easily set up LED lights in C4D.

Using a multiples render, you can easily modify the LED lights in After Effects giving you flexibility for the final look.
