Learn how to create a Get Layer Effects function in After Effects using Ae’s ExtendScript. David Torno launches a new series that dives further into ExtendScript, After Effects Scripting Language. Free Function Friday will introduce a new tutorial that will explain a different custom function that David has used in his work over the years.
The series will also cover examples of how to combine and implement the functions into your own after-effects scripts. The first in the series looks at a get layer effects function that will query a layer in After Effects and return that layer’s effects.
