How To Paint Out Normal Artifacts with Substance Painter

3D artist Alex Sheludchenko walks through his techniques for painting out normal map artifacts that may occur when baking normals in Substance Painter. The process isn’t overly complicated,but there are a few things to know when fixing up artifacts, within the Substance Painter workflow.

Substance Painter not only has some great next-gen painting tools, but it also allows you to bake all the maps you might need. You can then feed substance effects through automatically while you’re building your textures.
