How to Create a Cel-Shaded Cave Scene in C4D

By February 7, 2019No Comments

Mobox Graphics offers an introductory look into creating a cel-shaded cave scene and animation using Cinema 4D.

You don’t need to stick to 2D to get that popular “flat” look to your work. Creating a cel-shaded look in 3D is simple, especially using Cinema 4D. Watch Mobox Graphics’ Eli Prenten as he shows how to turn a 2D illustration (by Andrey Prokopenko in this case) into a 3D animation.

“This easy introductory tutorial will help you model a cave scene with proper models and lighting,” Prenten notes of the tutorial. Eli shows how to create simple 3D objects that will represent the inside of the cave and also shows how to develop materials and lighting as well as rendering.
