How to Bake Bevels to Display in Blender Eevee

By April 6, 2019No Comments

Chipp Walters shows us how to get the blender bevel node to show up with Eevee viewport renders.

Blender’s viewport render Eevee is a huge step forward for that DCC. Still early days, there are some things that Eevee does not support. Take for instance the Blender Bevel node. The node is an easy way to get beveled edges at render-time bevels for objects in the scene. Still, if you are working with a viewport render, the bevel node does not show.

Check out this short tutorial by Chip Walters that shows how you can bake bevels so that they will show up correctly in the Blender 2.8 EEVEE renderer. Eevee is a fantastic tool for Blender artists, but there are tricks to working with real-time scenes.
