Bring Maya Models to Cinema 4D With UV’s Intact

Israel Rodriguez demonstrates a method for bringing in content from Maya to Cinema 4D keeping as much of the texturing and UVs intact as much as possible. Not a difficult task, however Israel shows what to look and thwart to look out for with the process.

In Cinema 4D Portal I responded to a question on how to import a model from Maya to Cinema 4D without having to recreate all the textures or minimal if need be. So Here I show you how to export and Import from Maya to Cinema 4D and bring in your textures without losing UVs.

    Thats awesome, thanks for the info! I was wondering if there was a way to import animated models from maya to cinema4D? I know from Maya to Lightwave I use MDD’s but is there anything like that for Cinema?
