Aligning Similar layers in After Effects

A post from David Alex Wanganju who was working on cloning that required various shots from the same angle that needed lining up before any masking could happen… so he shows us a process by using blend modes to simply line up shots or layers. This is an old school technique from Photoshop that allows you to quickly line things up accurately without any need for zooming in.
