AtomKraft for Nuke Updates with Deep EXR Output

The interactive 3D toolkit for Nuke created by Jupiter Jazz recently saw an update, bringing compatibility with Nuke versions 7.0V5 and up. Although the release of AtomKraft for Nuke version 1.3.0 is a smaller point update, it features an update to the rendering engine bringing it to version 11.023, and also uses an updated version of Alembic, using version 1.5.3.

The interactive 3D toolkit for digital matte painting & compositing fully integrated in The Foundry’s Nuke

The most significant feature is new however. Adding DeepEXR output support, AtomKraft gains support for Deep Data, where pixels can store multiple values at different depths in the scene.

AtomKraft also gets some performance improvements in the AtomReadGeo node, which sees a boost when reading geometry and now supports reading and writing Ogawa data format Alembic files.

AtomKraft for Nuke and After Effects gives you a render man compliant renderer and 3D toolkit for digital matte painting and compositing. AtomKraft’s 3D abilities lessen or minimize the need to keep going back to 3D by making use of Houdini Geo, Cortex Procedurals, REnderman RIB / RSL, and Alembic Procedurals. The features of Atomkraft both for Nuke and After Effects are quite amazing, if you haven’t check it out yet, you can find more information here: AtomKraft for Nuke and After Effects.
