Understanding L-Systems With MoSpline Turtle Mode in C4D

MoSpline, at times can be an indispensable tool as part of the Cinema 4D MoGraph Module. Using the MoSpline system in Cinema 4D you able to easily create a branching structure by switching the MoSpline mode to “turtle”.

Here, Michael Murdock shares a look at what the turtle mode is doing in C4D and shows you how you can use the code generated by turtle mode to create your own tree using basic L-System theory.

Michael also provides some tips for how to get the branching system to behave like you want it to, and also covers how to create a gentle sway to the tree, adding some animation tot the MoSpline system.
