Iloura shows how they used the puppet from the production of “where the wild things are” to help create an accurate form in 3D. This is actually quite brilliant -by covering the physical puppet with tracking markers and filming it on a turn table, then generating a point cloud by tracking the markers in syntheyes and using that point cloud data as reference points when modeling. Genius!
