Peter Anderson demonstrating how to create an IK/FK switchable arm in Autodesk Maya. In part one of this first video, Peter covers the duplication of a bind joint hierarchy and establish a system in which this hierarchy is switched between a forward kinematic and Inverse kinematic joint chain. The setup for control over the individual chains is also covered.
