“Here’s a quick way to do a time remap on some animation without destroying or changing your existing animation curves. This is a feature built in to Maya 2011, but this method works for earlier versions of Maya. To revert back to your animation before the time remap, simply delete the timeRemapper node and it will relink the animation curves to the timeline.”
