CG Bootcamp instructor Pete Anderson answers the question “How do I create blend shape morph targets on specific parts of a whole mesh?” with this 15 minute tutorial explaining all about BlendShapes in Autdoesk Maya. Often there may be confusion when rigging a character as to the addition of blendshapes as the character is one contiguous mesh, however blendshapes might only be needed for the face of the character – do you blend the entire character just for the face? This tutorial answers that!
