MediaBox Studios recently released an update to Primitive Sketch for Cinema 4D that allows you to interactively draw out primitives in Cinema 4D viewports by clicking and dragging to control the placement and size of the primitive.
“We are proud to introduce a plugin for Cinema 4D that will speed up your workflow and make modeling in Cinema 4D more fun. Instead of always creating your primitives at the center of the world Primitive Sketch allows you to interactively draw out your primitives in your viewports, where you want them, to the size you want them.”
The Basic version is free of charge and allows you to draw in the viewports on the home grids, but for only $5 you can have the ability to draw your primitives interactively on other objects and construction planes. This is where the time savings really comes in. No more moving and rotating your objects into position just so you can start modeling.
