Animation Mentor Student Matthew Hamilton continues his Maya Animation Tips and tricks Series with episode 4 which takes a look at using annotations in an animation workflow. Particulary Mathew talks about a third party tool called Annotate Pro which allows for drawing directly on the screen in any application. There are some grease pencil tools for Maya that will allow you to do the same thing, most of which are free.
