Exocortex shows off the new Exocortex Fury 2 Cache loading functionality. Both Maya Fury and Softimage Fury are now capable of loading various cache formats (Maya PDB/PDA/MC, PRT, Softimage ICE and with Renderman PTC, Houdini GEO/BGEO coming soon) at render time. This cache loading functionality bypasses the host application making it possible to render large numbers of particles across multiple cache files directly from within Maya or Softimage (or from their batch rendering nodes.)
