Using Vertex Painting in 3D-Coat with Procedural Textures

The CandyFloss Kid takes a look at an interesting new feature in 3D-Coat… Vertex Painting. Particularly the ability to select procedural textures from the Fill Tool Modulation setting in 3DCoat to drive texture painting while in Vertex Paint Mode. The CandyFloss Kid notes that this feature is an early implementation Beta pre full release v4 of 3D-Coat Feb 2012.

3D-Coat is a Sculpting Application from Pilgway that uses Voxels for sculpting in an easy to use environment that supports layers, UV Mapping, Re-topology, Auto Re-topology, rendering and Ptex support and so much more.
