Rich Diamant, Lead Character Modeler Blizzard Entertainment has recently released the Diamant Modeling Tool for Maya. Based on his his Diamant UV tools for Maya, Diamant Modeling Tool is a completely integrated Automatic UV Mapper and Editor in Maya and includes a suite of custom modeling tools that are created and tested right in production.

The Diamant Modeling Tool does its thing without any custom Maya Nodes and without plugin dependancies making it ideal for a multi-Maya production environment alleviating the worry if files will open and work on other machines.

Currently Diamant Modeling Tool 1.0 for Maya is available for Maya 2011, 2012, 2013 x64 and Maya 2011 SP1, 2012 SP1, 2013 x32 and is windows only for the moment, however there is a possibility of both Linux and Mac versions in the future.

Diamant Modeling Tool carries the price of Price: $199 US for a node-locked version to an individual computer, and there is a trail version that you are able to take for a spin on the RD3D site.
