Best and the worst thing about Maya? One of the best things about Autodesk Maya is the ability to get around at astonishing speeds. This feat is not even due to application performance, but it is due largely to the Marking Menu and the ability to gesture menu items in them.

And one of the worst things is that there unfortunately, is an Autodesk Patent on Marking and Pie menus, which I find sad in that I feel that Maya’s marking menus could entirely revolutionize After Effects, Photoshop, and any other application workflow.
