Setting Up and Creating Stereo Pair 3D in After Effects

By October 9, 2012No Comments

James Whiffin takes a look at using After Effects and the New Stereo Tools in After Effects to create stereoscopic 3D showing how 3D monitors operate on stereoscopic images, and some basic formatting concerns.

In this tutorial we’ll look at how to setup stereo pair 3D. We’ll also look at how we can work in stereo pair inside of After Effects with live action footage as well as motion graphics

James also shows how you are able to work with side by side images in After Effects by setting up the workspace and double monitor set up for Stereo 3D. James also uses Chris Keller’s Stereo Scripts For Adobe After Effects which is a collection that contains five scripts for Adobe After Effects (CS3 and higher) that enhance the stereoscopic workflow. Check out the tutorial for How To Set Up and Create Videos For A Stereo Pair 3D Workstation here.
