Effectively Forming a Logo or Text from Animated Tentacles in Cinema 4D

By January 18, 2013No Comments

A look at creating tentacle shapes and movements in Cinema 4D that eventually come together to create a logo or some type from Alessandro Boncio, who took inspiration from the fantastic 4seven on screen graphics package created by the mighty ManvsMachine.

In this cinema 4d tutorial you’ll learn how to extrude hundreds of tentacles from a text or a logo

Although Alessandro creates the scene from start to finish, he doesn’t get into the specifics of how to create the inspired scene step by step; Instead he shows how to create your own from generated text in Cinema 4D, and goes over a lot of concepts to accomplish this. One of the great things is the subtle wave that continues through the segments as it is getting formed. Check out the tutorial for Creating Animated Tentacles in Cinema 4D that Form Text here.
