Creating and Rendering Metallic Type in Blender

By March 14, 2013No Comments

Andrew Price posts a tutorial for creating Qick 3D text in Blender and shows how to create a metallic material for the text, and also shows how to render the scene in Cycles for a great end result.

In this tutorial we’ll be creating a typical, big, bold, attention grabbing title

Andrew walks through the process of creating the type in blender, providing beveled edges to pick up the lighting in the scene, and also provides some tutorial resources including the blender file. Check out the tutorial for How to Make Metallic Text in Blender here.
