Project Splines On Polygons in Cinema 4D with the New Spline Projection Plugin

By April 15, 2013No Comments

C4DZone releases another plugin for Cinema 4D, Spline Projection developed by Matteo Porchedda, which as the name suggests, will project the interpolation of two splines in Cinema 4D onto a polygonal object.

Spline Projection is a Cinema 4D that projects the interpolation of two splines to a polygon object

Not only will the plugin project splines on to any polygonal shape, but Spline Projection can actually project the interpolation between two different shaped splines in Cinema 4D as well.

Simply add two splines to a scene and place a poly object in between them, and use the plugin to create a projected spline. The Project Splines plugin also has some potential for some creative animation possibilities by animating the initial splines with the poseMorph tag, or even animate the polygon objects themselves.

Check out C4DZone for more information on the Cinema 4D Spline Projection Plugin here.
