Imagineer Systems Product Manager Martin Brennand presents another quick tip bundle providing tips for using mocha Pro with a variety of subjects.

This time around, Martin demonstrates a bit about how the remove tool works in mocha Pro, and shows how important it is to have a tracked layer for the remove tool to work.

The remove tool in mocha Pro needs 2 layers: A foreground mask for the object you want to remove, and a tracked background shape

These tips come to us as an expansion of the quick tips that Imagineer Systems tweets on a regular basis and Martin Brennand posts a regular a “tip bundle” that will cover a bit more in detail as a summation of the weeks tips.

Other important tips concern matching frame rates and pixel aspect ratios of your footage between the applications that you are using to prevent a mismatch, and using the mocha Pro Dope Sheet for moving keyframes around a clip that has been adjusted by adding frames to the start of the clip.
