Using and building upon featured components in Cinema 4D, Matt Pearson shows how to create a flying kite animation which is, for the most part, using the Aerodynamic tools in C4D R14.

This tutorial uses the new Cinema 4d : R14 Aerodynamics along with spline dynamics, cloth and xpresso to build and fly a kite

Matt walks through the process and provides some tips for modeling an object that will be built with dynamics in mind, and then uses Cinema 4D’s Spline Dynamics, Cloth module and the Aerodynamics found in R14 to create the simulation, and uses Xpresso to provide some controls.
