Brian Horgan comes up with a handy solution for bookmarking or creating reference markers in the Maya timeline in his new script bh_timelineMarkers, mimicking functionality wise, the ability to place markers at certain points in the timeline and call them at any time, much like After Effects timeline markers.
create bookmarks for specific frames in the timeline and quickly jump between them, like the markers in Cinema 4D or After Effects
Although the tool doesn’t actually place a visual marker on Maya’s animation timeline like it would in After Effects or Cinema 4D, it does provide a floating window which allows you to create, name, and recall markers pretty easily. Check out the bh_timelineMarkers script here.
