Pixar TD David Lally started a great new tutorial series developed to be a quick way for him to share modeling ideas, all being a “bite-sized” minute long.
a new series of tutorial videos called the Modeling Minute that are intended to be a quick, low commitment way of sharing some modeling ideas and maybe even starting discussions about alternative modeling techniques
So far David has posted a few of these, that bounce around from application to application, demonstrating some great modeling tips in techniques for creating ropes, soft selection tips in Maya, baking normal maps, and using the Zbrush Decimation Master. I think these are a great idea, and really well produced, so be sure to check out the Modeling Minute Series over on David’s Site.
