Isotropix Highlights Clarisse iFX 2 With a Tour of New Features

Key Clarisse iFX 2.0 Features at a glance

  • Major rendering advancements such as support for volume rendering, Open VDB, deep image output through OpenEXR 2.0, double sided vector displacements and a new powerful AOV engine

  • New set of texture nodes for look dev artists

  • Complete OpenColorIO integration for high end color management

  • Powerful file referencing supporting local overrides and incremental updates designed for teamwork

  • Brand new 3D manipulators for faster layout

A little while back Isotropix announced Clarrise iFX 2.0 and showed off some of its features at the 2014 Siggraph show.

Clarisse is Isotropix’s “next generation” 2d/3d rendering tool which almost acts as a hybrid of animation tools, a compositing and a 3d rendering engine all in one super fast application, as Clarisse iFX is designed to render progressively and very quickly making use of the computers CPU for rendering.

Clarisse iFX 2.0 sports a new AOV engine in Clarisse iFX 2.0 making it easy to render out standard production rendering passes for compositing.

Another notable element is the addition of OpenColorIO integration, which will now offer high end color management directly in Clarisse iFX 2.0.
