Simon Jones continues his look into using the Projector Effect in HitFilm 3 pro to breathe life into still images. Using the Projector Effect, Simon creates animated water ripples on a still 2D image which brings the realism of the shot to a much higher level.
The Projector effect in HitFilm 3 allows you to create a camera projection, or camera map an image onto simple stand-in geometry so that you can move a camera around the scene convincingly.
All you need is a photograph that you can convert it to a projected 3D scene, allowing you to create a photorealistic shot, complete with 3D camera movement.
