Latest MASH 3.3 Release Takes the Maya Procedural Animation Toolkit to Linux

Maya MASH

The latest release of MASH for Maya, adds the linux platform to the list. MASH 3.3 now works on Windows, OS X and linux systems for Maya 2015.

MASH is a procedural animation toolkit for Maya, giving you the tools you need to replicate, instance and animate objets procedurally. MASH has a suite of 27 Maya nodes that are motion design concentric. MASH offers a range of effector nodes which can be linked together to generate customizable effects that can be controlled from Maya’s Attribute and Node Editors.

MASH 3.3 also brings an improvement to the baking features. You can now choose your channels and referenced objects inside namespaces, with namespaces, under namespaces referenced from a referenced namespace’s reference.

In a less confusing addition, MASH 3.3 has a bit of an interface refresh with MASH’s icon set getting an update. For more information on what is new in MASH 3.3, check the MASH 3.3 announcement here.

You can download a MASH 3 Trial. Fully functional version restricted to a maximum of 20 objects. More info here.
