Nitro4D posts an advanced look at a new upcoming tool for modeling which will allow you to create wedges easily. The new WedgeTool works off a face selection and then a designated edge of an object. The face is then extrude-rotated around that edge to produce the wedging effect.
You might have seen something similar in other applications such as Autodesk Maya. The WedgeTool for Cinema 4D is quite similar in operation and functionality.
The WedgeTool hasn’t seen a release yet, but certainly it will be a welcome addition to the Cinema 4D modeling toolset.
