There are some great additions to the features in DUIK 15. The features range from the IK system, to animation helpers and automators, right down to specialized nulls. The DUIK 15 null objects are more recognizable and easier to select for character animation work.
If you have never done any character rigging before in After Effects and you may feel that DUIK is too complicated a set up. This is a good tutorial to watch, then. It really sums up, what needs to happen to create a simple character rig in After Effects, using the latest DUIK 15 toolset.
