One of the tips on how to UV unwrap meandering shapes like tubes and ropes can be seen above. It’s super simple. Start by unitizing the object in the UV editor, which will make every face the same size filling the UV space, and stacking them. Then its just a matter of selecting all the edges, minus the seam that you choose. A quick Move and Sew and an Unfold in the UV Texture editor, and presto! You have UV mapped the insipid!
