New After Effects Bones Solution Offers Fast and Simple Setup

If you are into rigging character in After Effects, you now have another choice to add to your list of tools. After Effects users enjoyed DUIK for Ik and FK plus other animating solutions before RubberHose came a long. Now there is a new bones solution, BAO Bones, from the BAO team that brought us Mask 3D Warper, and Mask Avenger.

Setup and animate with IK in as little as 3 clicks

BAO Bones attends to be the fastest and easiest way to setup and animate an IK rig in After Effects. Simply select your layer, add BAO Bones, move the bone selection points where you need them, adjust the radius and you are done.

How does BAO Bones differ from what’s already out there now? The Bones solution performs distortion directly on the layers, giving you a smooth bend. This also means that you don’t need to have straight arms or legs to start rigging.

Probably the biggest bonus is that all the computation for the bones solution is done directly in the plugin. This means that you don’t have to have extra null layers or heavy expressions that evaluate on every frame.

All of this comes at a price though. BAO Bones will set you back $74.99. Still if you do a lot of character animation and need quick setup times, this might be worth looking in to. Visit aescripts + aeplugins for more information.
