Create Snow Covered Mountains In Cinema 4D

Snow covered peaks are a great exercise in fractals and shading. C4D Artist Niko Schatz looks at some of the possibilities when creating a mountain landscape render. Niko runs through using the Height Map and also covers a bit on setting up the scene with shading and rendering.

A similar tutorial by Vinhson Nguyen showed how to take the process a little further, creating a titles scene with the mountain peaks, with come nice tips for compositing in After Effects.
