Get MoSketch Light on an Early Access Release

Mocha Studio has been developing an animation tool that is driven by sketched lines. MoSketch lets you pose and animate characters through the drawing of strokes, rather than the traditional controls found in 3D character rigs.

The company has released an early access offering of the technology, hoping to get it in the hands of users. MoSketch Light lets you import a 3D model and start animating it by sketching lines for your poses. The software lets you draw on the character’s joints to quickly and naturally create key poses. It seems like a more intuitive way to create poses, block in animations, and get the timing down.

Animation is all about lines of action anyhow, so why not use them to drive the process?

Moka Studio launches Mosketch Light in Early Access 

Martigny, Switzerland (3rd May 2017) – Moka Studio has launched its new software MosketchTM Light in Early Access. The software is now available on its website www.mokastudio.com.

MosketchTM Light reinvents the way 3D animations are created. It by-passes the tedious and often technical process of creating so called control-rigs, which traditionally are used to animate 3D models. With MosketchTM the artist is empowered to control the full cycle of production. It is as easy as creating a 3D model, importing it in MosketchTM and starting animating by intuitively sketching poses. MosketchTM also simplifies the animations methods by providing simultaneous access to Forward and Inverse Kinematics.
