Mark Jackson Demonstrates Red9 ProPack Health Manager for Checking and Testing Rigs.

Red9 ProPack offers a health manager aimed at Maya rigging artists and technical directors. The Health Validation API is a dynamic and flexible health management system that includes a preset suite of health tests to make sure that your Maya scenes and rigs stay flexible and fast.

Here, Mark Jackson covers the concept of the Health Manager API and shows how you can write custom compounds for testing. “I can’t stress enough just how much this has saved our lives over the last few years, allowing us to ensure all our assets are solid before we send them out to clients,” says Jackson.

This demo covers the initial concepts and user interface of the tool and then goes on to include some of the more complex tests. Finally, Jackson shows how to write your very own checks and Validation classes.
