Create Amazing Rain on Glass Effects With Fusion

Vito LaManna Shows How to Create an Amazing Looking Rain and Fog Covered Glass Effects With Resolve/Fusion.

ConFusion’s Vito LaManna takes a stab at creating fog and rain covered glass effects, complete with neon and more, and he does it masterfully. You might have seen a similar tutorial for After Effects, this one uses Blackmagic Design Fusion or Davinci Resolve, and looks unbelievably realistic.

LaManna uses a few tools that are found both in Resolve and Fusion. They include VariBlur (Compound Blur if you are familiar with Ae), Render3D, Spotlight, Locator3D, Masking, ColorCorrector and the Gamut node. “Now despite being advanced, it is also very informative when you are getting started with Fusion,” LaManna says.
