With a new installment in his Maya Modeling Tricks and Secrets series Lead Environment Artist for The Coalition Malcolm Andrieshyn shares how to create a show and hide edges toggle set to a hotkey in Autodesk Maya. It’s a simple thing, using the hotkey editor and a bit of code, you can show and hide edges with a keystroke, saving you some time when modeling.

Over the course of the series, Malcolm also talks about adding a custom shelf to the Modeling Toolkit, and a couple of ways to slide verts along edges.
