Paul Conigliaro Shares a Script That Gives You More Control Over Color in After Effects.
A new script from Paul Conigliaro (Conigs) lets you get more control over your color keyframes in After Effects, by giving you access to individual controls. Release Colors enables you to gain control over individual Hue, Saturation, Luminance or Red, Green, Blue controls. Select the color properties and choose the HSL or RGB buttons in the script.
Set your color controls free with Release Colors. Individual controls to keyframe HSL or RGB for any color in @AdobeAE. ScriptUI/Script/ft-toolbar/KBar ready. For free because it should be possible already.https://t.co/2tHigtDVMQ pic.twitter.com/98oqtuhljH

The script has a small panel, or you can run it “headless” through ft-Toolbar or KBar. KBar offers the ability to change the default to RGB by entering RGB in the “Script function or argument (optional)” field. Holding Alt/option will release HSL in this setup.
Release Colors is pay-what-you-want, or “For free because it should be possible already.” as Conigs puts it. Which does bring up an interesting point, why can’t you exactly?
