Tony Lyons, Noise Advanced node, makes it easy to look-dev noise in Nuke.
Once upon a time, Senior Compositor Tony Lyons got tired of making the same animations on noise nodes in Nuke. Noise is an integral part of compositing and animating the noise attributes over time. Animating noise in Nuke isn’t that convenient, so Lyons creates a NoiseAdvanced node specifically for this purpose.
The node has user-friendly animation sliders that make it quick and simple to whip up look dev with the node for things like smoke, clouds, caustics or other things too. With NoiseAdvanced, you no longer need to type in expressions every time you want to make a tweak or test different animation speeds.
