How to Set Up Particle Animation Physics With Stardust

By December 12, 2019No Comments

Friedpixels shows how to set up particle animation physics with Stardust 1.5 in Ae.

Check out this new tutorial from James Ramirez, who offers it as a visual guide for setting up particle animation physics in Stardust 1.5. The tutorial covers all the settings, node properties, and forces for implementing physical dynamics.

Version 1.5 of Stardust, After Effects’ modern node-based particle and 3D tool added a flurry of features including a new volume workflow. James offers a general overview and his workflow, including tips for best practices for setting up particle physics.

I’m not sure how you can even consider something like Trapcode Particular in light of the speed and quality of the advancements in Stardust. Not to mention that Stardust is $150 cheaper too.
