Adding MOI to a Cinema 4D Workflow

Contrafibbularities shows how to model a kitbash part using MOI and C4D.

There are lots of great tools out there that can help round out your modeling workflow. One of them is Moment of Inspiration or MOI. The modeling application is a surface or NURBS modeler, allowing you to build complex shapes quickly. Not a lot of people are familiar with the NURBS modeling workflow, but it does have its advantages. Hard surface models become more intuitive to build, and MOI makes it pretty easy.

Wolfgang Rode, also known online as “contrafibbularities” posts a new tutorial that shows how you can add MOI to your modeling workflow along with Cinema 4D. The tutorial covers building a kitbash part. The finished model gets an export over to Cinema 4D, where the work can continue. MOI 3D is a fast and low-cost modeler for designers and artists, not technical people.
